Hi
in the sunny hours of the afternoon we do still get some visits of hoverflies - in December, very special!
18.11.11 we had a male of Xanthandrus comtus. Is this one the female?
Switzerland, 09.12.11, 430 msm, near Lake Zurich, on balcony

Yes, it's the female Xanthandrus comtus...
