ephydridae fly? about 5-6 mm...
took in silgueiros- viseu - portugal on 16th november 2006

I think this is a rather typical male Anthomyiid, but wait for the experts, who will probably not be able to tell you more. Ephydridae never have this kind of head, wing venation, suture on the thorax etc...

Classic male anthomyiid - anal vein clearly reaches wing margin (lovely photo of this character!)
