Hi flyforum!



* locality - Silgueiros - Viseu - PORTUGAL
* date - 1.11.2006
* size - ant - minus 1 mm!
* habitat - urban
* substrate - leaf of "jarro".
* observations - dead fly, the ant Plagiolepis pygmaea (one of smallest ants in Europe) was interested in this fly.

Please, tell me why the ID. ;) Thank you!

Jorge - you got it right with Chironomidae (female). I don't think anyone will be able to take it much further than this. :)
