This looks superficially like a small Sarcophaga, but is it?

Amstelveen, The Netehrlands. 30 September 2006. Size: quite small, it is sitting on an individual Ivy flower. Habitat: Ivy scrubs in suburban park area.

Hi Cor. Yes, it's a Sarcophaga s.l. female. Some of the species can be as little as 3.5 mm.

Is it possible to be more specific? I submitted it for the gallery, and a more specific identification would be helpful!

Sorry, Cor - it's a worn female with quite a few broken bristles, and almost all of the key features are out of focus or in deep shadow. Without a specimen it's pretty well impossible to name it.:(
