Hello,
This was obtained from a moth caterpillar from East Turkey. Its ID very much appreciated. Muhabbet

It looks like an
Exorista sp. to me ... but it would be nice to see more angles - especially the head laterally.

Many thanks Chris. I placed a lateral view. Not so sharp. I hope it works.

Yes, I am still sticking with
Exorista sp. (close to
larvarum or
fasciata) ... Erikas or Theo might be able to say which species it could be - but you are always welcome to send it to me and I would have a better chance.

Thank you Chris. We have still not much material of tachinids; however, believe us, in near future we'll write to you on a closer collaboration. Your help on ID will be very much appreciated.

No problem ... like Theo, I am happy to help if specimens can be donated ... without them it gets very difficult.

Theo is an unreachable person for me, as I have no response since 4 November 2010, for my asking 6-times through e-mail for his publication on Tachinidae of Yemen! I donot know why.
