This is right out of cocoon, I don't know it coloration changes later ? Body 12 mm.

EDIT: Yes, confirming, coloration changes substantialy within an hour, this is just before first flight

Hence I think it is Eupeodes corollae. If someone can confirm that ?

Looks more like
Eupeodes lapponicus, since radial vein is conspicuously bent.
