I shoot a fly this morning about 08:16 on a mountain trail in the grassland about 40 cm above the ground in coniferous forest of about 750 meters above sea level.
It was rainy weather started to rain but it was warm, fly in fote was calm and relaxed. I attach fotogafiu the place where she was shot.

Yes it is !!

Pharyngomyia and Cephemyia are hilltoppers par excellence, Oestrus and allies as well

however, Hypoderma never hilltop (that is, if you consider Oedemagena tarandi a Hypoderma, that one does).

Cephenemyia is found in watching towers in the Harz in numbers (JUly - august). H. diana is much earlier: May.
