Hello dipterofriends,
I found this nice chloropid by sweeping through rather short vegetation on a warm day in Hasselt, Belgium 25-V-2011.
I think it is
Meromyza genus? Is species level possible?
Thanks so much for watching! :-)
Greetz,
Kim

Yep, that's
Meromyza with its swollen hind femora. Species ID from photos is impossible (I have a big collection of just
Meromyza spec.!).

Hi
Looks like M. sororcula, but as Sundew said "Species ID from photos is impossible"! you definitely need to genitalia for confirm, this character is very important in this genus! :)
