Can anyone confirm that this is Epistrophe eligans trying to deal with an aphid infestation on my roses by laying its eggs?
2.5.11 c 8mm Wiltshire garden, UK.

Thanks for the confirmation Dave. Hope its grubs keep on top of the aphids this year...
