Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Merodon equestris => Eristalis intricarius

Hello,
my first fast impression was Volucella bombylans. Considering the wing venation it should be a Merodon. Is it a M. equestris var.? Veins look slighly different compared to the specimen I photographed before.
