How can L.personata be ruled out?

Good question, so I searched the site. I have had one before which Michael Ackland thought was L. obtusa but stated the critical characters were not really visible so I had to find out what those characters were.

You will see the critical difference on the next link..

I have seen the fly again twice, today I managed to get some much closer shots of the side so I should be be to see for sure. I couldn't see the tiny bristles through the lens but I have yet to download the pics.

Here's a couple of shots which hopefully will confirm L. obtusa.

Seems L.obtusa......I don't see any hairs on notopleural depression, we can see a dark vitta on scutum and lateral margins of scutellum with several rows of setulae.. but the strong rows of upwardly directed setae are very fine.....so i think it could be a female

Thanks Joke. :)
Is this one of those like in Tachinidae where there's little or no difference in the gap between the eyes?
