Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Culicidae larvae

I have determined this first larva as Anopheles claviger and almost sure in it. Centre of European Russia, river, near bank.

As for the second - it seems to be Culizeta sp. However I am not sure.

in both cases I would say you are right. In the first there seems to be no brushes of seta on the frontoclypeus, just single hairs and in the second there is a brush of seta at the base of the siphon, so Culiseta.
