A 6 mm fly from our housewall (northwest Germany). Possibly
Hebecnema sp.?

Costa stops at R4+5, longish antennae - could this be
Coenosia agromyzina? - no,I guess not, with the white lunule and two pre-sutural dcs. Sorry I spoke!

Coenosia agromyzina last year. That was very tiny, merely half the size of this one.

It looks like one I had in November last year, it was small. Look at Hebecnema nigra female.

If you could see it had black halteres you would be more certain! Still, it does have a distincitve look and we do often have the same insects! Maybe we should check each other's posts, it might make things easier. :D

Unfortunately I don't have a picture with halteres visible. :|
