Hi, I have been rearing Black Soldier Fly larvae in a Biopod and have been coming across larger than normal (longer and more cindrical) larvae that are inactive. Larvae orignally from Florida, US. Any idea if these are of a different species or is this an abnomality and if so what might it be caused by? CHEERS! Andrewv

If they are longer, more cylindrical and inactive, they are probably just puparia. Expect some adults to emerge before long. :)
