Is it to say which Lauxaniidae fly this is..?
Picture is made 4-9-2009 in Zeist, Holland

Again Meiosimyza, probably rorida.

Hello Ruud,

Thank you very much for your reaction to my Lauxaniidae's, I think most probable I often find Meiosimyza rorida, they look the same. I'm happy you can classify it, mostly these flies dissappear in spec.'s.

Indeed, Hedy, rorida is very common, but there are enough interesting species, also Meisimyza. It is just a matter of keeping your eyes open ;)

okidoki. In case of Lauxaniidae, try to make also good dorsal pictures. The bristles on the thorax are very important. Also the legs may be important as the wings.

Hello Ruud,

Of most of the flies I have only a side-look as mostly they want to fly away. Many pictures are from 2007-2008, when I was not aware that I could ever know their name.
This year I'll try to pay more attention to it.
