Size 6-7mm.
These flies were observed early in the morning (and at sunset on the same day) on the edge of a path among the Bishop's palace ruins.

This Bombyliidae is so fantastic!

A little off-topic...

Curiously, a 6 months ago, I was in Side in that so distant day 29 March 2006 to assist the most spectacular event on Nature: total solar eclipse. So, I invite you to read my report and feelings about this unforgottable event!
