Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Melanostoma scalare?

Is it possible to confirm that these two specimens belong to Melanostoma scalare? The first specimen (photos 1 and 2) was found in Barcelos, Portugal on 5th of August 2010 and the second specimen on the 3rd photo was found on 26th of January 2011 in Estarreja, Portugal.
