is it a Syrphidae? Is a closer ID possible? I took the picture in Hagen, NRW, Germany, on September 2nd 2010, in the near of an extended beech forest, 150msm

Looks like a Melanostoma female to me, M. mellinum or scalare (which I would prefer). But wait for the experts...
