3.5mm hump to tail, Clitheroe UK, 13 December 2010.
I collected this yesterday at the place I found the larvae identified in
http://www.dipter...d_id=34650 as
T. verralli. I guess it is likely to be the same species. Is there anything I can check in this female specimen to confirm this?

Clitheroe 27 March 2012.
At last a male from the same place. The larvae turned out to be
Th. verrallii, and if I could establish the two adults as the same species we would have a nice record for the Gallery. Does anyone have Wagner?
