Hello!
A greyish 5 mm Mycetophilidae from light in garden (northwest Germany). Closer ID possible?

Looks like an Exechiopsis sp.

The base of the posterior fork, though quite difficult to see, seems to be slightly in front of the the base of the median. That would rule out Exechiopsis I think.

Yes Oxycera is right, It is difficult to see, the R5 vein kind of bends towards M1 like Exechiopsis but perhaps it is also a commonality to other genera also, :P
