Thread subject: Diptera.info :: No idea

I've no idea for this one. There were lots of them, in mixed woodland on the banks of a small stream near Rome, Italy. About 3/4 mm long.

Hi Sarah
Nice pics of Parydra, but not aquila (which has very short bristles on the head). Possibly coarctata or quadripunctata - if you have the specimen I can describe the characters you need to look at.
