I thought a few people here might be interested in Paul Bertner's (pbertner on DI) blog being posted almost live from the jungles of Guyana (British Guiana) called "Rainforests". (slight bad language and gore content warning) and his accompanying Flickr photostream.

One of his recent images really amazed me because he has a series of photos showing a tachinid fly attacking a sphingid larva. I can't really say much about the tachinid (other than it looks like Exoristinae and something maybe close to Houghia sp.):

It's very unusual to get a photo showing oviposition behaviour even in Europe so to capture it in the rainforests is even more amazing :D

I'd encourage everyone to give his blog a read (remembering that the posts are listed in reverse time order - oldest at the bottom) and have a look at his Flickr :)

He does not have a link on Facebook I think. A pity. The photo's are brilliant.

Yes, I haven't seen a FaceBook profile for him but he would probably find it useful. His blog is very readable and he has a good turn of phrase :)
