Hi, this is the last hoverfly in my collection from my trip to Brazil.
Again only one picture but hopefully good enough for id...
It reminds me bit of a male European Sphaerophoria scripta..

9th February 2010, Rainforest area close to a river, Paraty-Brazil.

A male Allograpta sp., but there are a lot of species overthere....
