Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Geomyza paganettii, Opomyzidae

Hi,

it took more than 6600 flies before I found my first Opomyzidae for this year :o. Now I hope it could be Opomyza paganettii again. The location is same than last year. September 6. 2010 Helsinki, Finland.

Surely you don't mean that you actually caught this extraordinary rarity BEFORE the ubiquitous Geomyza tripunctata and all the rest?;)But could this species be more "malaise-minded" than the common ones in its family?

Just an addition: If and only if this really is the mysterious paganettii, I don't master these finesses in this family.
