This female was about 11-12 mm. It looks close to T. nobilitata in galley but there are perhaps other species?

Thanks for your help in advance

It looks a bit odd for nobilitata, but it can't be handlirschi, since there is only 1 pair of DC.

Is Thereva plebeja a possibility?

I've now seen a picture of T. plebeja. It's a much darker species, so that seems not to be an option.

also, the date does not agree.

But the frontal callus resembles plebeja, so I could see your point

Thanks to Jan Willem and Theo.
I post a crop of one of my pictures.

Is it realy only 1 pair of DC?

Looks like you are right Kurt. There seem to be two pairs of dorsocentrals. So with the dark halters I would go for Thereva handlirschi afterall. Let's wait what Theo thinks about it.

Right !

So nobilitata is now very unlikely, and handlirschi it could be.
