She was full of mites? Mites and many other insects' larvae?

It´s a pity; in case they were mites, they would be probably aquatic, so attacked her when she felt, but those smaller bugs? Maybe some larvae had attaked her before and that´s why she felt on the water?

I think the big mites are Parasitiformes - commonly found as "hitchhikers" on insects which emerge from dung or compost. They are predatory, but are not eating the fly - just hanging on to get a ride to another site. There are more than usual on this fly - so that could be the reason she fell in the water. I think the smaller bugs are larval mites.
