Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Drosophilidae ?

Is this a Drosophilid? It was resting on a Squash leaf. The date was 4 August 2006. West Virginia USA.

The fly was 3.2 mm in length.

Another new family. Almost more than I can keep up with! But I am not complaining. Thanks, Paul, I will go read up on Chyromyidae.
