Does someone know who is this Bombyliidae laying in the middle of the way ? (France (C?te d'Or) 7/8/2006)

Villa, cant name to species without specimen and even then it is difficult. It is not laying eggs but gathering dust which it uses to coat its eggs which it then scatters by flicking its abdomen down while in flight.
