Hello to all!
Is there anything to mix this lovely fly up with? It was on top of a mountain as high as 2289m, so there were no deers close, only chamoises perhaps.
Size approx. 15mm

If there was ever a fly that would appeal to the public - this must be it!! I really want one for Christmas!;)
And I'd agree that this is
stimulator. The host is
Capreolus - Roe Deer. It has been recorded at over 2200 meters, and this one may be "hill-topping" - so higher than its hosts.

Yes, and although exhausting, I can very well understand the flies and butterflies who love to do this, too. :D
