Hi
Today I went to Caramulo mountain (serra do caramulo) and I was in Caramulinho - about 1000 m elevation. I saw this beautiful chloropid. A Meromyza sp. specimen. Hope Jere will add more info for the ID. :) or anyone who wants to tell possible species. thanks in advance.

Meromyza femorata Macquart, 1835 (Chloropidae, Chloropinae).
Though Meromyza spp. normally only can be identified after the male genitalia this species, a female, may be correctly named: All over yellow, the palpi black distally and exceptionally thickened hind femora. A confirmed host plant is Dactylis glomerata. All Meromyza spp. loose their greenish appearance after have been killed.
