Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Rhinophoridae

Hi Forum,
First question - is this a Rhinophoridae - I am pretty sure that it is....

Second question: What genus is it?

about 4.5 - 5mm long. swept from grassland. 6 July 2010.

Rhinophora lepida? That species is small with yellow halteres ... and very common at this time of year :)

Steve Falk did a copy/paste job a few years ago, based on van Emden (1957), I think. I have a copy here that I can email you ;)
