Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Wasp-waist orange abdomen

Can anyone point me in the right direction with this that was flying around in our kitchen today.

Area mid-Wales UK. Length = 8mm

It was very slow flying, and had obvious long trailing/dangling legs.
