Is it a Chrysotoxum species?. ID will be very much appreciated.

Yes, it is. Possibly lineare, but I'll have to check it when I'm back home. Or maybe Gerard picks up this one for me?

It is not
Chrysotoxum lineare.In
C. lineare scutellum is black and it looks really different.

Indeed not lineare, it is more likely Chrysotoxum parmense!
Normally the scutellum would be totally yellow, but I do believe some variation is there.....:o
