This fly was found in Southern France, very close to a small stream. It stayed very close to the water's edge, sitting on leaves or on bare ground, like in this picture.
It is a Dolichopodid, but maybe somebody can tell a bit more?

Argyra, my favourite dolies, perhaps favourite flies as well. Lovely, aren't they?
