Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Muscidae > Phaonia sp.?

hi flyforum,

I found this Muscidae(?), probably Phaonia sp.(?) this afternoon.
Look's a bit like Phaonia angelicae but I am not sure.

It got a plumo arista (short hair)
Crossveins are not darkened.
The spiracle is clearly yellow.

What kind of Muscidae (Phaonia) is this?

This is a male Helina impuncta, not old regarding at the frons not totally closed.
