Hello!
Are these two 7 mm flies (from garden shed and forest border, northwest Germany) both
Phaonia rufiventris? The first one seems very slender to me.

They do look like
Ph. rufiventris indeed. the first on seems to have lost its "Phaonia bristle", and for the second one, the chaetotaxy is out of focus/hidden...so it is not confirmed.
