i take the photo of these fly on 2010-05-04
in Ennepetal / NRW / Germany.
It is about 12 mm long.
I search the name.

many thanks for your help.
now i think, it is Cheilosia albitarsis, because there is a thread with Cheilosia ranunculi in these forum with very good pictures.

It is very hard to tell from pictures. At least even specialists don't do that, unless you have a full detail view on the tarsae... ;)
