I'm not used to seeing Lauxaniids in this size.

If it is indeed Lauxaniidae it should be
Cnemacantha muscaria...

Thanks Paul. It seemed to tick all the boxes for Lauxaniidae in Unwin's key, but I may have gone wrong. All the
Cnemacantha muscaria in the forum have strongly darkened wings - but I think they are all female. Is the male different in this respect?

Hi,
Cnemacantha muscaria is correct. It is not dimorfism on wings, wings of this aspecimen are unussually light.

Thank you Katka. I had another look at the specimen, and the shading on the wings is perhaps a little more apparent than in the photos, but still very light.
