Can someone give this Rhamphomyia a species name? It was found on a blackberry in the Netherlands, last week.

Rhamphomyia (Rhamphomyia) cinerascens. Have the exact location and date...?
BTW: That second specimen you sent, was that in the forum yet? And do you have location and date for that one, too?

If you have photo AND specimen there should be problem. The species was
Empis caudatula.

Pictures of mini-
Empis are difficult for identification, but if you take pictures and the specimen after the pictures, the specimen will give you the ID.
