Hi
I think this can be an Ernestia puparum.
2010.III.27 - Póvoa Dão - Silgueiros - Viseu
So far this Spring I saw G. viridis, Phasia cf. obesa, Gymnosoma sp., Gonia picea and this Ernestia puparum... (possibly a rinophorid too..)

Err.. Of course they should be the other way around:
puparum has haired cheeks, not
vagans! Sorry Chris!
There's other features as well. Yet again, this specimen has dark r-m nodes as Chris pointed out and contrary to what I've seen...

that's why I sent PM you as in the gallery all E. puparum have "hairs" in the cheeks.
Thanks once again for your feedback! :)

Hi, I was wondering if Ernestia puparum was the only Ernestia with the darkish cross veins, not only r-m but also m-cu and the post-angular vein? I find it with this specimen, other pics in the gallery and a specimen i collected today but i can't find it back on pictures of other species like E. rudis, they at most seem to have r-m darkened...
thanks
Pieter
