Good evening,

hidden among some Suillia`s I found a Acantholera cineraria female. Very nicely visible the ac r bristles (tiny) in three rows.

According to the cataloge of Pal. diptera it is not recorded from the Netherlands. Paul, I guess you have more complete data. What do you know about the records from the Netherlands?

This specimen was collected in Hilversum on 21-10-1997 by mr de Rond.

I will, as soon as I have time for it. Hopefully tomorrow evening. The problem, though, is that the quality of my photo's is awful.

You prefer a photo taken dorsally or laterally?

It is a female, so I thought it would be the best to show the cerci. It is too tiny, though.
Just look through the scope...again hesitation. Is it Morpholeria in stead? The arista is abt as long as the head is high.
I'll do my best tomorrow!
