Hi, I was in Slovakia for a short trip and I found this in water sample from brook. Some 2.4 mms. Thanks in advance.

seems a bit like Diamesinae, but could also be a Orthocladiinae. The picture is too poor, sorry. I can perhaps tell you the genus if you are able to present a photograph of the ventral side of the head, showing the mental teeth, right now it is too dark (brown). You could also send it to me.

Thank You, Diamesinae would be new to me :) I'll make better photos next weekend (I'll lighten it a bit up, with KOH). Walter
