Hi,
These two flies were photographed by Josep Barbar? at Girona (Catalonia) last may.
Does anyone know about its identity?

These flies belong to the family Chloropidae, but that's all I can tell you.

Probably
Thaumatomyia notata (Chloropidae), mainly based on the narrow cheeks,
