Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Psilidae Chamaepsila rosae?

Hi all,

This small fly was resting high up under a Buddleia leaf on 25th April 2009. Not sure of the size but it wasn't big ;)

Location, a few miles south of Lincoln UK.

Thanks Lars, you are probably more expert than me but I'm getting better.;)

Thanks Paul, at least I got the genus right.;) I have proof of the larva of Chamaepsila rosae in my carrots, I found this one is the Carrot root fly.:|
