Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Anthomyiidae: Fucellia (maritima or tergina) [SL] {was Scathophagidae}

7.5mm, late July on the intertidal zone, Northumberland NE England. The nearest I could find was Ceratinostoma ostiorum . Am I close?

Looks like an Anthomyiidae I had a while back;
Fucellia fucorum. Might be wrong again though.

There is another in the Gallery F tergina

Edit: There is also F.maritima..don't know what that looks like..:| Maybe Stephane will know, he is into beach flies.

Fucellia is right. The legs are not wholly black, so either F. tergina or F. maritima.
