Assume this is a scuttle fly (Phoridae) ?- not seen a pale coloured one before.
Taken yesterday South coast UK about 3.2mm body length

Phorid alright. Many are dark but there are numerous paler ones as well.

Have to admit I thought it was a gall midge or fungus gnat when i first spotted it :)
