First time the camera has been out of the bag in 10 days due to crap weather up here. Only thing flying about tonight were Trichoceridae and Psychodidae.
Any idea which female Trichoceridae this might be ?

Hello,
I'd say this female looks more like
Trichocera hiemalis although
T. regelationis from this view could be an option as well...

Thanks Andrius
According to my refurbished Checklist (See Post #4)
T.regelationis is now
Metatrichocera regelationis, so what do you reckon...
T.sp. or
M.sp. or stick it in the Recycle Bin along with all the others I'm binning at the moment (Spring/Autumn Cleaning) 2Gb and counting so far.

Roger,
Metatrichocera became a subgenus of
Trichocera quite a time ago, so all the species in your list are
Trichocera now:
Trichocera (
Saltrichocera)
annulata,
T. (
S.)
regelationis,
T. (
S.)
saltator and
Trichocera (
Trichocera)
hiemalis .
As for the pictures,
Trichocera cf.
hiemalis could secure them from ending in the recycle bin :)

To quote Senna the Soothsayer..Woe! Woe! And Thrice Woe!.....Why can't people leave names alone...:|
And I sent the revised list to the Shetland Entomological Group so they could alter their outdated list....:o
TAXI for Mr Withers....:D
Thanks Andrius, saved it from The Recycle Bin (Laden)

(Dictated from my taxi on the way to an undisclosed location): oops ! Spot on;
Metatrichocera just a subgenus, which I should have been clearer about - I'll stick to the harmonica from now on...

"Help me" by Sonny Boy Williamson 2 would be a good song to be playing at the moment :)
