Hello,
A fly captured on 13 10 2009 at Van, East Turkey about 4-5mm. Could its species can be identified?

Scatophagidae, I'd say.

I would say Heleomyzidae ! ;) tribe Heteromyzini. Specimen slightly destroyed :| Maybe a dorsal view of head and thorax is possible ?
