Thread subject: Diptera.info :: unknown fly

Hello

Who can inform me which fly I photographed? Which family does this insect belong to? The photo arose in west-Germany....August '05.
I am pleased with every advice.:)

Looks like family Tachinidae (Raupenfliegen). It's a nice photo but I can't see enough to say which genus or species :)

I agree, Kahis, and all the photos Markus is posting are so good that it's a pleasure just to look at them. :)
But do we have to get up so early in the morning to take such clear pictures?:(
