Would it be right to say it is an Ichneumonid?

It seems to have exodont mandibles...
Do you have other views ?

I realize it is a wing-shot you're after, but I do not have one. I was hoping that someone could place it in a family.

It has a small round head and mandibles seem exodont, so I would say that it's a Braconid rather than an Ichneumonidae.
As far as I know "1O mm or more" is a bit too much for an Alysiinae...
So sorry, I'm totally ignorant. I just try to practice with your nice pic and I wait with you for a specialist.
Let's keep hope :)

Thank you. I am pretty sure it was over 10mm. But I am known to exaggerate :D

It is an Ichneumonidae for sure!
It looks like a Tryphoninae Oedemopsini...

Great! Thanks Pierre-Nicolas (de nous tirer de l'ornière)!
Is the fringe of setae of the clypeus the orange part which I arrowed in black?
Or is this fringe only the few long hair which I arrowed in blue?

The fringe are the setae you marked with the blue arrows.
